PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driving device capable of achieving satisfactory image display on a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal driving device includes: a latch circuit which has a plurality of n-bit latch regions and successively latches a plurality of n-bit display data pieces which correspond to respective row electrodes of a liquid crystal panel comprising a plurality of row electrodes and a plurality of column electrodes and result from dividing m-bit display data for driving column electrodes into two or more, into designated latch regions; a data register for successively holding n-bit display data; and a latch pulse generation circuit which generates a latch pulse for latching n-bit display data into a designated latch region each time when the data register holds n-bit display data. The latch pulse generation circuit includes: a counter which changes the count value each time when the data register holds n-bit display data; a decoder for decoding the count value of the counter and generating the latch pulse; and a mask circuit for masking generation of the latch pulse from the decoder in a transition period of the count value of the counter.
