PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in a refrigerating unit by a split cycle. SOLUTION: This refrigerating unit 1 has a first compressor 11, a second compressor 14, a radiator 15, a flow divider 16 dividing a flow of a refrigerant flowing out of the radiator 15, a first decompressor 17 reducing pressure of the refrigerant flowing in a first refrigerant flow passage after dividing the flow, a heat exchanger 18 exchanging heat between the refrigerant flowing in a second refrigerant flow passage after dividing the flow and the refrigerant reduced in pressure by the first decompressor, a second decompressor 19 reducing pressure of the refrigerant flowing in the second refrigerant flow passage, an evaporator 20 evaporating the refrigerant, and a confluent unit 13 making the refrigerant flowing in the first refrigerant flow passage flow in the second compressor 14 by mixing the refrigerant with a refrigerant after being compressed by the first compressor 11; and controls so as to increase opening of the first decompressor 17 under a condition that an overheating degree of the refrigerant flowing in the second compressor 14 becomes a first value or more and a difference between the temperature of the refrigerant flowing in the first refrigerant flow passage flowing in the heat exchanger 18 and the temperature of the refrigerant flowing in the second refrigerant flow passage, becomes a second value or more.
