PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device using a truck provided with a liftable carried-object support base controlled by cam rails on the floor side, in which the subject item support base can be fixed at the lowest position. SOLUTION: Cam follower rollers 30a and 32 for lifting which are liftable up and down as interlocked with lifting motion of the carried-object support base 11 are pushed up by the lifting cam rails provided on the travel passage side. While an energization means 45 to energize the carried-object support base 11 upward moves the carried object support base 11 not having the carried object W thereon upward, the carried object support base 11 mounting the object W is set to fall by its dead load in the truck type transport device. A tool 60 is detachably provided to hold the carried object support base 11 at the lowest position against the energization of the energization means 45. The tool 60 is provided with a screw member for operation (operation nut 63) to allow the carried object support base 11 to move upward by the energization in accordance with rotation operation quantity.
