PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flexibility without spoiling the bulkiness, the liquid absorbing amount and the dust reduction performance. SOLUTION: This wiper made of paper is constituted by integrating an intermediate layer 30, a front surface layer 10, and a rear surface layer 20. In this case, the intermediate layer 30 consists of a chemical fiber mixed paper, and absorbs and holds a liquid. The front surface layer 10 consists of a chemical fiber mixed paper, and covers the front side of the intermediate layer 30. The rear surface layer 20 consists of a chemical fiber mixed paper, and covers the rear side of the intermediate layer 30. The front surface layer 10 respectively contains 10 to 85 mass% of ultrafine fibers of which the fineness is 0.05 to 1.0 dtex, and of which the fiber length is 2 to 10 mm, and 10 to 85 mass% of pulp fibers. Also, the basic weight is set to be 10 to 40 g/m<SP>2</SP>, and the thickness is set to be 30 to 400μm. The rear surface layer 20 respectively contains 10 to 85 mass% of ultrafine fibers of which the fineness is 0.05 to 1.0 dtex, and of which the fiber length is 2 to 10 mm, and 10 to 85 mass% of pulp fibers.
