PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intervertebral spacer for performing a surgical treatment of an intervertebral vertebral fusion having less invasiveness. SOLUTION: A spacer 125 or 130 keeps a series of pore sections or gap sections 120 installed on the surface. The pore sections 120 (having a circular, rectangular or other arbitrary shape) increase vertebral stability by making a bone growth into the pores possible, and command the fusion between adjacent vertebrae finally, and at the same time, locate the spacer at a specified position. A protruding section or a spike 153 may be installed, and they enter the bone surface, and at the same time, supports the fixation and the stabilization of the spacer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
