PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper suitable for the use of an absorbent pad. SOLUTION: In this disposable diaper, a flap extends breadthways along the application surface of at least either front or back bodice. A pocket is formed between the flap and the surface sheet. A stopper to which an auxiliary absorbent article is attached is provided at least inside of the pocket on the flap or on the front sheet facing the flap.
