The invention relates to an antenna arrangement comprising a partitioned ground plane comprising at least a first part and a second part that are interconnected by a component having a predetermined impedance and an inductive coupling element positioned adjacent the component. The invention further relates to a module for a wireless communication device and a portable electronic device, both comprising the antenna arrangement. The invention also relates to a method comprising partitioning a ground plane into a first and a second part, interconnecting the two parts using a component having a predetermined impedance and providing an inductive coupling element adjacent the component.
