The machine has a lift pump (21) connected in upstream to a condensate water recuperation tank (22) and in downstream to an intermediate tank (24). A condensate water reservoir (37) supplies the condensate water into the condensate water recuperation tank (22) by the pump. Condensate water reservoir (38) supplies the water into a steam generator (12). A partition wall (19) permits the flow of condensate water from the reservoir (37) towards the reservoir (38) by overflowing the water above the wall. The tank (24) has a filter (27) extending from the wall towards an upper wall of the tank (24). An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying condensate water to generate steam from a drying machine, comprising a steam generator.
