<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for communication where heat insulation effect is given and which can be made light-weight and small-sized, as compared to conventional communication cabinets. <P>SOLUTION: The cabinet for communication 100 is provided with its body part 10, which is formed of a housing whose back is opened and which has a first opening part on a whole front face, a second opening part on a side and a third opening part at a base; a back-fitting part fixed by blocking an opening region of the body part so that it constitutes the back of the body part; a lid part which axis-fixes the first opening part to the body part so that it is freely openable; a first cover part 40 which is fixed to the side of the body part, by making it confront with the second opening part and has a ventilation flue in the vertical lower direction, with respect to the second opening part in a state where it is fixed to the side of the body part; and a skirt part 50, which is formed of a housing, whose base is opened and which fixes the upper face of the opening part that overlaps with the third opening part to the base of the body part.
