<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of writing stable images by removing the influence of variation of the surface of a photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has an image creation means for creating electrostatic latent images on the photoreceptor by corresponding to recording data of one line part, and scanning and exposing the photoreceptor by information light generated by a scanning information light generation means. The image forming apparatus has: a first light receiving element for forming timing signals by detecting a start end of the information light scanning the photoreceptor by the scanning information light generation means; and a support means for tracking to be moved in an optical axis front and rear direction of the information light by the surface of the photoreceptor in the support means for supporting the first light receiving element in a mode for receiving the information light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
