<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of easily and visually recognizing a paper sheet even when the paper sheet is jammed in a hidden manner in a conveying passage formed of a guide member, and an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The paper sheet conveying device (4D) installs a guide member (47) which forms a conveying passage of a paper sheet (9), and has a through hole (6) consisting of an opening shape while the opening distance in the direction (B) across the paper sheet conveying direction (A) is longer than the opening distance in its conveying direction as at least a part of a plate-like guide member for guiding the paper sheet along its conveying passage. The image forming apparatus comprises an image forming device for forming an image on the paper sheet, and a paper sheet conveying device for conveying the paper sheet to a necessary part including the image forming device, and at least a part of the paper sheet conveying device is constituted of the paper sheet conveying device (4D). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
