<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module of improved power generation efficiency by expanding the incident spectrum region of solar light up to ultraviolet spectrum region, with no excessive increase/decrease of the amount of ultraviolet ray absorbing agent in a sealing material, nor using special material. <P>SOLUTION: The solar battery module has such structure as a sealing material layer of ethylene vinylacetate copolymer is provided between a protective transparent plate and a substrate, with a solar cell arranged in it.
