<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for encrypting data without affecting business performance. <P>SOLUTION: This storage device is provided with: a cache memory; a first control part for controlling data accompanied with a write command to be written in the cache memory; a second control part for controlling the data written in the cache to be written in the storage device; and an encryption engine for encrypting the data accompanied with the write command.
