<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for capturing images synchronous to periodic movements capable of acquiring CT image data excluding fluctuation due to the periodic movements by highly efficient capture. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for capturing images synchronous to periodic movements receiving trigger signals and capturing fluoroscopic image data of a subject for every rotation angle by CT with a plurality of continuous rotations of a gantry, includes a period calculation section 37 for acquiring synchronous signals to the periodic movements of the subject and calculating a period of the periodical movements from the synchronous signals, a capturing condition calculation section 38 for calculating the rotating speed of the gantry according to the number of rotations of the gantry and the period of the transmission of the trigger signals based on the period of the calculated periodic movements, and a capturing section 2 executing CT at the calculated rotating speed and the period of the trigger signal and capturing the fluoroscopic image data of the subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
