PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a heat exchanger while improving the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A 0.1 mm thick stainless steel plate is formed into a heat exchange tube 30 of 0.5 mm thick flat tube shape by press working, bending, or the like, and crest parts 34 and trough parts 36 are formed on flat surfaces (front and rear surfaces) of the heat exchange tube 30 to be symmetrically folded by folding lines at predetermined spaces (folding spaces) W along the main flow of air so that an angleγdefined to the main flow of air is a predetermined angle (e.g. 30°) within a range from 10°to 60°. A plurality of thus formed heat exchange tubes 30 are arranged in parallel to form the heat exchanger. A secondary flow effective for air flow is thereby formed to improve heat transfer efficiency, and the heat exchange efficiency is improved on the whole.
