<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a baggage charge adjustment system for adjusting a charge, even for baggage having a size exceeding a specified size entailing an extra charge. <P>SOLUTION: A baggage terminal 1 measures the size or weight of baggage of a passenger, and prints a baggage tag to be attached to the baggage based on baggage tag information received from a host computer 3. A passenger terminal 2 reads boarding passenger information on a passenger, presents a transportation charge of his baggage to the passenger, receives payment for the transportation charge of the baggage, and composes payment completion information upon completion of the payment.
