PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiving system operating a terrestrial analog receiver and a terrestrial digital receiver with the same workability as a multi-functional machine even when both receivers are connected externally and to provide a remote controller. SOLUTION: A key control table stores key-control information relating a control key, a first remote-control signal transmitted to a first television receiver in response to the control key, a second remote-control signal transmitted to a second television receiver in response to the control key and a change information showing whether to switch the broadcasting system of a television broadcasting viewed by a user in response to the control key. A control section for the remote controller stores a first key-control information in the key control table while transmitting a remote-control signal indicating to turn off the second television receiver when detecting the operation of a first select key. The control section for the remote controller stores a second key-control information in the key control table while transmitting the remote-control signal to turn on the second television receiver when detecting the operation of a second select key.
