PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a crystal blank from being in direct contact with a ceiling or a floor inside an oscillator and to stabilize influence on an oscillation frequency by external temperature change though in a simple configuration without the need of adding a cost-increasing special structure such as a double container for keeping airtightness. SOLUTION: The crystal blank 12 is supported on a package 11 by a conductive adhesive 14, and there are cases that the crystal blank 12 is brought into contact with a lid 13 or an IC 15 for control due to inclination or the like. In the state that the crystal blank 12 is inclined, it is in the state of being in contact with a heat insulation part 16. Even in such a case, an external temperature is not immediately transmitted to the crystal blank by the heat insulation part and thus, the time of influence on the oscillation frequency by the external temperature change is fixed.
