摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a liquid crystal from being made in contact with an uncured seal layer in a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device employing a liquid dripping method. SOLUTION: A first vertical alignment film 14 and a second vertical alignment film 24 are formed in non-display areas A2 of a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate 20. The first transparent substrate 10 has an uncured seal layer 15 formed along the entire outer edge of the non-display area A2. Then liquid crystal LC is dripped on a display region A1 on the first transparent substrate 10. Then the first transparent substrate 10 and second transparent substrate 20 are stuck together in a chamber 30 in a vacuum state, and then put back to the atmospheric pressure, and the first transparent substrate 10 and second transparent substrate 20 are pressed against each other to spread the liquid crystal LC. At this time, the seal layer 15 is gradually cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays and the liquid crystal LC is disturbed with alignment restricting force of first vertical alignment film 14 and a second vertical alignment film 24 and does not contact the seal layer 15 before the seal layer is cured.
