PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which has makes a printed board and a semiconductor device reliably connected to each other regardless of its simple constitution. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel; the printed board disposed nearby the liquid crystal display panel; and the semiconductor device disposed straddling the liquid crystal display panel and printed board. The semiconductor device has: a flexible substrate; and a semiconductor chip, the flexible substrate has: a plurality of first terminals connected to the printed board; and a plurality of second terminals connected to the side of the liquid crystal display panel, and the printed board has: a solder resist film; an opening portion bored in the solder resist film; and a terminal portion comprising a plurality of terminals formed in the opening portion and connected to the first terminals of the flexible substrate. The terminal portion of the printed board and the first terminals of the semiconductor device are connected together through an anisotropic conductive film, and the anisotropic conductive film is laid over at least respective terminals of the terminal portion of the flexible printed board and the solder resist film.
