PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion device wherein load rolling elements are laid in a sliding portion between a guide shaft part and a nut member to be smoothly and relatively moved, and the nut member can be easily molded. SOLUTION: The linear motion device 10 comprises the guide shaft part 11 extending along the axis, and the nut member 14 relatively movable along the guide shaft part 11. A rolling element rolling groove 12 is provided in the outer peripheral face of the guide shaft part 11, and a nut body 15 and a rotary sliding member 17 stored in the nut body 15 are provided in the nut member 14. The rotary sliding member 17 has a fixed portion fixed to the nut body 15, and a rotary portion in the surface of which an annular groove is formed. The fixed portion and the rotary portion are relatively turnable. Part of the annular groove is opposed to the rolling element rolling groove 12, and the load rolling elements are arranged between the annular groove and the rolling element rolling groove 12.
