PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing a phosphite as a main component which hardly causes the dust and gives a thermoplastic resin composition superior in discoloration resistance. SOLUTION: The phosphite-containing granular composition, which comprises a phosphite (1) expressed by formula (1) and a compound (2) expressed by formula (R<SP>8</SP>-B-S-C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>CO<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>-D (2), contains 30-99.5 pts.wt. of (1) and 0.5-20 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the composition containing the compound (2), and is useful as an antioxidant for a thermoplastic resin such as a polyolefin.
