PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist grip which feels good when an occupant grips thereon, can minimize or prevent deterioration of appearance due to friction with a hook part of a hanger when the hanger is hung thereon. SOLUTION: The assist grip for the vehicle has mounting parts 13A on both ends of a grip part 11A, and comprises: a base body 21A comprising synthetic resin; a skin layer 23A laminated on a surface of the base body 21A of the grip part 11A; and a bristle layer 25A provided on the surface of the skin layer 23A of the grip part 11A. The skin layer 23A is made of softer materials than that of the base body 21A. A hanger hook 15A without the bristle layer 25A in a circumferential direction perpendicular to the longtudinal direction of the grip part 11A is formed on the surface of the grip part 11A.
