The present invention relates to a process for the production of multienzyme system by fermentation. The process in particular uses Aspergillus oryzae MTCC 5154 under optimized conditions for the production of multienzyme system by submerged fermentation. The product in particular is a mixture of different enzymes such as a-amylase, amyloglucosidase (AMG), carboxy methyl cellulase (CMCase), pectinase ß-galactosidase and xylanase.
