A deburring device and a deburring method are provided to improve precision of deburring work while restricting eccentric abrasion of a brush. A deburring device for removing burrs by polishing a workpiece(1) comprises polishing members(21,31), a displacement unit(10), and driving units(20,30). The polishing members have rotating shafts and polishing surfaces perpendicular to the rotating shafts, respectively. The displacement unit displaces relative positions of the workpiece and the polishing members along a straight route. The polishing members are driven by the driving units in such a manner that the polishing surfaces make contact with the workpiece in a first polishing position which is offset from the center of the workpiece and a second position which is opposite to the first polishing position. |
