METHOD OF GENERATING ONE-TIME PASSWORD (OTP) OF TIME SYNCHRONIZATION SYSTEM BY USING IC CARD, AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR ONE-TIME PASSWORD, IC CARD SYSTEM, INTERFACE DEVICE, AND IC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of generating an OTP of time synchronization system, using an IC card, and of authenticating the generated OTP.

SOLUTION: A reader-writer 1 built in with a reader timepiece transmits an OTP generation command including a time of the reader-writer 1 at the time when generating the OTP, to the IC card 2, and the IC card 2 generates the OTP according to a fixed procedure. The OTP generated using the IC card 2 is input into a client 3, and an authentication server 5 authenticates the OTP of a user 6 transmitted from the client 3. The authentication server 5 computes the time of the reader-writer 1 when generating the OTP of the user 6, and generates a time synchronization message for correcting a time shift with respect to a server timepiece built in the authentication server 5, and the reader-writer 1 corrects the time of the reader time according to the input time synchronization message.
