<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recovery method capable of recovering data encoded and stored in a storage in a device even if an encryption key inside the device becomes unusable, and to provide an image processor, a controller board, and a data recovery program. <P>SOLUTION: In the data recovery method of an information processor 100, a first encryption key is stored in a secure memory 107, a second encryption key is stored in a first storage 108, and data are stored in second storages 112, 113. In the data recovery method, the second encryption key is decoded by the first encryption key, the second encryption key is used as a backup key for printing on a plotter, an operator is allowed to restore the backup key using a printed matter where the backup key is printed when the first encryption key cannot be used, and data stored in the second storages 112, 113 are decoded by the restored backup key, thus solving the above problems. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
