<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover element covering an airbag and facilitate an installation operation to a vehicle body, in an airbag device covering a window part on a side of the compartment of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device 1 arranged at a roof side part of a vehicle comprises an airbag 2, a garnish 18, a bracket 26 and a mounting member 27. The bracket 26 comprises a mounting receiving part 54, and is fixed to the vehicle body. The mounting member 27 comprises a mounting member body part 61 made of an iron plate, and an assembling pin 62. The mounting member body part 61 comprises a support part 63 supporting the airbag 2 and the garnish 18, a mounting part substrate part 65 fixing the assembling pin 62 to constitute a mounting part 69, and a connection part 64 connecting the support part 63 and the mounting part substrate part 65. The mounting part 69 is engaged with the mounting receiving part 54, so as to mount the airbag device 1 to the vehicle body.
