<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily vary a luminescent color. <P>SOLUTION: An LED 15 protected by a transparent light-emitting window 16 arranged on the front of a camera body 12 is fitted to a digital camera 11. The LED 15 comprises a chip emitting a blue color and a chip cover comprising a yellow phosphor covering a pn junction for the chip. A current flows through the pn junction because a voltage difference is generated in the chip, and the blue light is emitted. The luminous intensity is also increased with the increase of a driving current. The blue light is radiated from the light-emitting window 16 as a color different from a blue by transmitting the chip cover comprising the yellow phosphor. The luminous color is varied by the change of the ratio of blue corresponding to the luminous intensity to yellow. A table representing a relationship with a luminous-color temperature numerically indicating the driving current and the luminous color is stored previously in an EEPROM connected to a CPU, and an LED control circuit connected to the CPU controls the state of the emission of the LED 15 according to the table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
