PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, and information processing method, an information processing program, and a recording medium in which the information processing program is recorded, capable of presenting a storage region relevant to data to a user as a candidate of a storage location when the user stores the data. SOLUTION: This information processor 100 stores data in a storage region specified by a user as a data storage location of a plurality of storage regions held by a storage device 13. It has an extraction means 31 to extract character string information 21 from the data and/or the information given to the data in accordance with a predetermined extraction rule, a retrieval means 32 to retrieve storage region attribute information 22 indicating the attribute of the storage region using as retrieval keys the character string information 21 extracted by the extraction means 31, and a presentation means 33 to present the storage region specified on the basis of the retrieval result by the retrieval means 32 of the plurality of storage region to the user as a specification candidate of the data storage location.
