PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera apparatus which is free from such a risk that a wiper is being stopped within a visual field of a video camera. SOLUTION: For driving a wiper W by controlling a motor 1 from a motor control section 2, a start sensor 6 and a limit sensor 7 are provided in the wiper W and the motor control section 2 can detect that the motion of the wiper W is stopped during operation, and when the motion of the wiper W is stopped, the wiper W can be moved thereafter opposite to a moving direction before being stopped.
