PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balun transformer that can be made compact by shortening a transmission line part while maintaining high performance in a wide frequency band. SOLUTION: The balun transformer 30 is provided with first transmission line parts 31 and 32 formed on a first surface 10a of a substrate 10 to have two balanced terminals at one end side, a second transmission line part 33 formed on a second surface 10b of the rear side of the first surface 10a of the substrate to have an unbalanced terminal 33d at one end side, and a capacitor 36 as a storage element, the one end of which is connected to the other end side of the first and second transmission line parts 31, 32 and 33, and the other end is grounded.
