PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of joining different kinds of metals, a method that can firmly join materials composed of different kinds of metals to each other, that can prevent electro-erosion due to mutual contact of materials, and that can obtain at a low cost a dissimilar metals joint having excellent joining strength and corrosion resistance, and also to provide a joining structure of different kinds of metals, a structure that can be obtained by this method. SOLUTION: In joining different kinds of metal materials 1, 2 superimposed through a seal material S, there are interposed, between the two materials 1, 2 and the seal material S, third materials 3a, 3b that prompt discharge of the seal material and that have a lower melting point, for example, than any of the metal materials 1, 2.
