PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an increase in a circuit scale, and possibly and accurately calculate the residual quantity of a battery. SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: a power supply line for supplying power from the battery; a system load operated by power supplied from the power supply line; a resistive element provided in the power supply line; a voltage drop detecting means for detecting a voltage drop in the resistive element; a corrected voltage drop calculating means for correcting the voltage drop detected by the voltage drop detecting means based on a correction coefficient, and calculating a corrected voltage drop; and a battery residual quantity determining means using the corrected voltage drop as one parameter, and determining the residual quantity of the battery.
