PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein electrical characteristics decrease since the capacity of a capacitor may decrease and tanδmay increase after an oxidation reaction occurs due to the application of voltage to a thin part of a metal deposition electrode and an oxide protection film is formed in a metalized film capacitor. SOLUTION: In the metalized film capacitor, a pair of metalized films 1a, 1b are arranged so that the other split electrode 6b is arranged opposingly on one non-split electrode 7a via a dielectric film 2a, and one metalized film 1a and the other metalized film 1b are set to be an anode and a cathode, respectively. In the metalized film capacitor, a slit 4a in one metalized film 1a is provided at the side of an insulation margin 3a beyond the center in a width direction and the total distance of one slit 4a is made shorter than that of the other slit 4b.
