PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of notifying reliable information regarding the correctness of started software, a software correctness notifying method and an image processor. SOLUTION: This information processor 100, which notifies the information regarding the correctness of the started software 50, has an encrypting/decrypting means 5 which stores a value calculated uniquely from the started software 50 and which encrypts the information with the value and decrypts the encrypted information with the value, and a software correctness management means 22 which decrypts identification information 71 of the information processor encrypted with the value uniquely calculated from the correct software by the encrypting/decrypting means 5 and notifies the identification information 71 as information regarding the correctness of the started software 50.
