PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost required for machining a connector and to improve productivity of the connector by reducing the machining processes of the connector when it is demanded to connect the connector to a header at a certain angle. SOLUTION: This method of forming a connector part for a heat exchanger by connecting the connector serving for communication between the interior of a header of a heat exchanger and an external circuit, to the header so that a center axis of an opening of the header and a center axis of a passage in the connector are crossed to each other at a certain angle, is characterized in that a passage of the connector is formed only by cutting in one direction using a cutting tool and that the header side opening of the passage of the connector formed by cutting is connected to the opening of the header.
