PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably protect a semiconductor integrated circuit device against surge pulses lower in voltage without significantly changing the size of the semiconductor integrated circuit device. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit device is provided with a first protection circuit 30 which has two diodes 31 and 32 and a second protection circuit 40 which has a field-effect transistor 41 and a resistor 49 between a supply voltage line 27 and a reference voltage line 28.
