PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for a turbofan capable of increasing the quantity of air, improving efficiency in its operation, and reducing noise without increasing the size of outside diameter and rotational speed. SOLUTION: In this impeller for turbofan provided with a main plate 2 connected directly with a driving source, a side plate arranged by opposing to the main plate 2, and a plurality of blades 4 arranged in the peripheral direction between the main plate 2 and the side plate, inclination along a flow line on a back side in the vicinity of the main plate 2 and twisting are given to each blade 4 by fixing a connection point P1 where a front fringe 4a of each blade 4 is connected with the side plate and offsetting a connection point P2 where the front fringe 4a of each blade 4 is connected with the main plate 2 inward in the radial direction. To explain concretely, an inclination angleϕof an inlet formed with a horizontal line by the front fringe 4a when each blade 4 is viewed from a front fringe 4a side is set to 78°-89°, and an angle of attackψon a connection face where each blade 4 is connected with the main plate 2 is set to 20°-40°.
