PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of quickly and easily discriminating whether or not a ROM different from a ROM to be mounted originally is mounted like the presence/no presence of erroneous mounting of the ROM in a manufacture stage and the presence/no presence of replacement with a fraudulent ROM in a use stage. SOLUTION: In the game machine provided with a ROM where a program relating to a game is stored and an output means capable of outputting signals relating to the game when a prescribed condition is satisfied, identification information for identifying the ROM is stored further in the ROM. The game machine has an information output means capable of information output corresponding to the identification information to the outside, and a ROM identification information output control means for performing control so as to execute the information output corresponding to the identification information inside the ROM in the information output means when receiving the signals from the output means within a prescribed period after a specified input device is operated.
