Bivouac tent of bag and canopy

A bivouac tent comprises an envelope incorporating a bag 20 and a canopy 10 constructed from waterproof materials supported and secured when pitched by means of a system of poles and pegs, the canopy being provided with means 15 of adjusting the set when pitched and the bag adapted to be opened or closed at the head and provided with means for releasably securing it to the canopy. The method of securement includes provision for access to the interior of the canopy and therein to the interior of the bag by means of openable panels in the canopy attachable to the bag so as to form an aperture which faces the foot of the bag when secured in an open position.
