PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting tool for fishing, after crossing a lower part tackle-attaching part at a crossing part with the ring state connecting part of an upper part, then becoming a state of passing with each other in front to rear and staying as closed, even if the gap of the lower part tackle-attaching part is opened. SOLUTION: This connecting tool for fishing 1 is provided by: forming a crossing part A obtained by arranging one end side 2c of a metal wire material 2, by folding back the central side 2a of the metal wire material 2 in front directional side and arranging another end side 2b at a rear directional side for forming a ring state connecting part B at an upper side than the crossing part A;bending the one end side 2c and another end side 2b of the metal wire material 2 in opposing direction for installing each of leg part 2e and leg part 2d at their tip end parts; extending for forming a side-facing leg part 2g and leg part 2f at the leg part 2e and leg part 2d, respectively; and installing the tackle-attaching part C made as a state of passing with each other so that the extended leg part 2g of the one end side 2c of the metal wire material 2 becomes as the rear directional side and the extended leg part 2f of the other end side 2b becomes as the front directional side.
