The use (i) of a compound of formula 2 wherein R³ and R⁴ independently of one another represent a C₂-C₄-alkyl or -alkenyl radical or (ii) of a mixture consisting of or comprising: at least one such compound of formula 2 as well as at least one compound of formula 1 and/or at least one compound of formula 3, wherein R¹, R², R³, R⁴, R⁵ and R⁶ independently of one another represent a C₂-C₄-alkyl or -alkenyl radical, as a fragrance or flavouring is described.
