The method also comprises the determination of a pixel located on the inside of a region formed by the nucleus candidate pixel (K<SUB>i</SUB>) in order to obtain a center nucleus candidate pixel (K<SUB>o</SUB>), the determination of a first edge candidate pixel (P<SUB>N</SUB>) as a pixel on a predetermined path (120) leading away from the center nucleus candidate pixel (P<SUB>o</SUB>) by detecting a change from a first section to a second section of a color space, and the discovery of continuing edge candidate pixels starting from the first edge candidate pixel (P<SUB>N</SUB>), said elements forming a boundary (122) surrounding the cell, by means of which a path finding algorithm, which tends to prefer shorter path lengths and paths by pixels in the second section of the color space. |
