The invention relates to a plant pot that has been specially designed to make use of excess water resulting from the watering of the plant and to prevent the loss of water. The invention enables the continuous growth of the root, maximum benefit to be gained from the nutrients and the stored water to be ventilated, thereby oxygenating the roots of the plant. For this purpose, the inventive pot includes: a two-part base which defines two chambers, namely an upper chamber for the soil in which the plant is growing and a lower chamber for storing excess water resulting from watering so that said water can be used; and two static vertical tubes (6 and 7) which extend from the base (3) of the lower chamber up beyond the upper edge of the pot, said tubes being provided with facing side holes (8) below the two-part base (2) defining the chambers of the pot, through which the air can be recirculated and the water and roots can be oxygenated. |
