The device has a transport device transporting two and three-dimensionally formed objects to and fro from a radiation source. The transport device includes a linear guide (3) for an object holder (4) for positive holding of one object to be irradiated, where the object is movable back and forth with a linear motor (5) along the guide. A controller (7) is provided with a path measuring system (6) for measurement of a distance between the holder and a reference point (8). The controller serves for the influence of a movement of the holder along a transportation path provided by the guide.
