The station (2) has a furnace for energetic use of agriculturally produced raw materials e.g. potatoes, and a steam generator for generating main steam. A steam turbine converts a part of energy contained in the main stream into another type of energy. The steam turbine is downstream of a processed application in which a part of energy contained in a process steam is used. A bio-ethanol plant (4) is downstream for the generating bio-ethanol for the remainder steam, where a part of the energy contained in the remainder steam is used for energetic processes of the plant. An independent claim is also included for a method for energetic use of agriculturally produced raw materials.
