Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von (Methyl)-Prednisolon-17-(C1-C4)carbonat durch Umlagerung von (Methyl)-Prednisolon-21-(C1-C4)carbonat <IMAGE>nach welchem man Prednisolon- bzw. Methylprednisolon-21-(C1-C4)alkylcarbonat mittels Lithiumdi-(C1-C4)-alkylcuprat umlagert.
