<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method easily applicable to a production site, and efficiently removing foreign substances contained in marine products, especially shellfish meat or egg, fish meat or egg, or seaweed. <P>SOLUTION: This method for removing foreign substances from shellfish meat or egg, fish meat or egg, or seaweed includes soaking shellfish meat or egg, fish meat or egg, or seaweed in salt water of a salt level of 15-25 wt.% for 2-60 seconds, and separating foreign substances by specific gravity difference.
