<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, an on-vehicle apparatus, an information providing server, a program and an information processing method. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle apparatus 20, which can communicate with an information providing server 10 and is mounted on a vehicle, includes: a destination setting part 266 for setting a destination of the vehicle; an information acquisition part 268 for acquiring advertisement information and position information associated with map additional information indicating the set destination, from the information providing server wherein map additional information added to a map, advertisement information, and position information showing prescribed advertisement output positions are stored in association with each other; an output part for outputting the advertisement information acquired by the information acquisition part; a position determination part 274 for determining whether the vehicle has reached an advertisement output position indicated by position information acquired by the information acquisition part; and an output control part 276 for controlling the output part to output the advertisement information when the position determination part determines that the vehicle has reached the advertisement output position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
